They don't always see eye to eye on things either which makes it hard. My perinatology specialist is an older guy so he's been there and done that so I typically follow him more than my OB. Luckily I did not have any issue my first pregnancy, but this pregnancy I started out with high blood pressure that was hard to control. Luckily the extremely high doses of medicines have been keeping everything stable. It was better to start out high and adjust as necessary. Hope things go much better for you! :)Nikki @ WishUponAShootingStarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11110546180247271345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5304917244107925636.post-64216385604848316912014-04-03T12:59:57.722-04:002014-04-03T12:59:57.722-04:00Oh, I booked an appointment with the peri (I absol...Oh, I booked an appointment with the peri (I absolutely HATE that I have to see 2 different OBs here - apparently it's different in every region) to be more proactive about my GD this time around. I want to get on metformin now (in the past they put me on glyburide, i hate it, still gained a zillion pounds) to help manage everything. if i eat like an ounce too many carbs while pregnant i immediately gain 5 pounds, plus i get so super tired. so i am making them treat me early this time around!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15573794627811717373noreply@blogger.com
