This week has been jammed pack with things to do and they still keep coming!
Yesterday was Administrative Professionals day, so we had a pizza party at work. That was pretty exciting and a nice break. I knew I had a rough draft due at midnight so I had some extra time so I thought I would get it out of the way really quick. Well, I was wrong about that! My final project is 25 to 37 pages long!! And the first 25 pages were due yesterday! So I used some spare time to work on that. I had to take Hailey to dance yesterday since we have plans tonight. I figured that would give me some time to work on it, but wrong again! It was parents night so we got to sit in the class! Then by the time dance was over the Caps final game for round one of the playoffs game was on! No way was I able to focus on my paper. So the verdict is, I'm going to turn it in late for points off! Boo! But I would rather take the time to get a better grade then slop something together and get a bad grade. My final huge project is due May 6th so it's right around the corner!
This morning already had been exiting! Today was a patents day where we could go to school and see a special thing for Hailey. This week is "week of the young child" and had been a special week for Pre K students. They all received a people ribbon to wear each day this week. They have had special visitors, including a police officer and his dog Cooper!
After I got Hailey on the bus, I took Pixie to Laplata to the groomers. She was such a stinky mess! Then headed back to school for the event. The students sang a special song called "Special Me". Then they each took turns talking into the microphone telling which special book they wanted to share with their parents. Hailey choose The Taking Crayon Box. It was a cute story about a box of crayons where no one got along. A little girl bought them and drew a picture with them. Then they realized how unique and special each one was and how they needed each other. It was very cute! After that we got cookies and punch!
So now I am laying here enjoying my few minutes of quiet before I have to get Hailey off the bus. Then we have a little while to get homework done, before we go get Pixie and meet up for the wedding rehearsal at 6. After that it's the rehearsal dinner and home for showers and bed time for Hailey and working on my paper for me! Let's just say I hate using my leave but I am sooooo glad to be off today and tomorrow!
