One of my favorite features about myself are my eyes. They are a deep green color and it is easy to make them pop with very little product! I used to mainly just use eyeliner, but I have grown to love a good mascara lately! I think it gives them a little extra!
Many people have heard of the site Influenster. I have found it fun to take surveys on and review products, especially beauty products. I was lucky enough to be selected to receive the free VoxBox Rose! I could not wait for it to arrive!
There was a lot of awesome products, but one I really was excited to see was a brand new thing of Rimmel London mascara. The brand has been around for a long time, but it's never really been one of my go to brands. The one I received was new for November 2013! It's called Scandaleyes Retro Glam! The unique brush is suppose to help "plump and fan out lashes". I am always looking for some bold eyelashes! I had never seen a brush like this one, it was shaped like an hour glass. I was excited to see how it would work out differently then some of the other mascaras I had tried! Also it promised no clumped!
So I am sure you are wondering if it stood up to the hype! Welllllll...........
It did pretty good! The first thing I noticed was that it added length to my lashes! It really did help fan out each individual lash. I did add a couple coats and had one tiny clump, but it was more just excess from the brush. I didn't have any issues with my lashes sticking together which was nice! I pretty much loved it! I checked out the site and was surprised to see how many products Rimmel has! I had no clue they had so much stuff from mascara to eyeshadow crayons, to lips, and more!
I am really excited that Influenster and Rimmel gave me the chance to review this product! I can't wait to check out more from the brand!
